A brief run down for those who were unable to attend, from the AGM on Monday 3-3-25
Life Membership awarded to Greg Clegg from the Cobras
Honorary Memberships awarded to Esther Abbott from the Tigers, John Edwards from the Guards and Dave Gallagher from the Kelpies.
Massive congratulations to you all.
A couple of motions were passed, being as follows
That the election process be amended in our Constitution that the Committee positions be elected over a 3 year period, with 3 positions being being voted on each year. This is to provide stability on the Committee and for the HDDA to stay on an even keel with regards constitution and our legal requirements. At future AGM's, from now on there will always be an election held, with 1 management position and 1 or 2 committee positions each year. Those elected will then do the 3 years until they are next up for re-election. Members will be advised in due course which positions will be voted on.
From next comp, (Winter)which commences 15th May, the rules of play be amended to, that the shooting for the bullseye to determine who throws 1st etc, to be amended to as follows.
As we do now, in the odd number games 1-3-5-7-9-11 the HOME side will throw 1st and score.
If games are 1 all after 1st 2 legs, there will be a throw at the bullseye to determine who throws 1st in Leg 3.
In the envelope for next comp there will be a note for all to keep in their folders or dart books you take with you to darts re the above. Any questions just call me and I can answer any questions that you may have.
